Overview
The activity was conducted under the theme “Spreading Awareness about Menstruation”, using Nukkad Natak as an interactive and impactful medium of communication. The performance aimed to educate young girls and the community about menstrual hygiene, dispel myths and taboos associated with menstruation, and encourage healthy and dignified practices.
Through engaging dialogues, expressive acting, and relatable real-life situations, students effectively conveyed messages about personal hygiene, the importance of using sanitary products, and the need for open conversations about menstruation. The street play format enabled direct community engagement, making the awareness message accessible and meaningful.
As part of the outreach initiative, sanitary napkins were distributed to the girls of the school, reinforcing the importance of menstrual health and demonstrating the Interact Club’s commitment to community welfare and social responsibility.
