Overview
On the occasion of Divyang Diwas, the Interact Club of BHIS had the honour of inaugurating a new Tiffin Service at Divyang Sakhi Saheli Trust, a centre committed to empowering individuals with disabilities through care, dignity, and opportunity.
🤝 During the event, student volunteers reaffirmed their commitment to service by taking a heartfelt pledge:
“I pledge to uphold the dignity, rights, and wellbeing of every person at the Divyang Sakhi Saheli Trust and all those who require my help.
I promise to offer my support with compassion, patience, and respect.
I will do my part to create an environment where everyone feels valued, empowered, and included.
Today, I commit myself to serving with integrity and kindness—and to helping in every way I can.”
This pledge reflected the students’ resolve to stand by the values of compassion, responsibility, and active citizenship, and to extend support whenever needed.
